On Thursday August 21nd, 2014, the Portuguese Water Dog Club of the Twin Cities hosted our annual Obedience and Rally Trial. Our entries may have been a bit smaller than past years but our PWD's and handler's performance was exceptional. New titles were earned, and new handlers were welcomed to the sport!

Next on August 22rd, under the steamy August sun, The Portuguese Water Dog Club of the Twin Cities Regional Specialty hosted enthusiasts and the best of breed at the annual gathering in Lake Elmo, MN. Dogs and handlers took the weather in stride, and relished the occasional breeze and showed beautifully.

Our Specialty boasted more than 40 entries during Friday's Sweeps and Conformation event with majors earned in dogs and bitches all weekend. Following the specialty was another two days of fun and excitement with St. Croix Valley Kennel Clubs All Breed Show. Wrapping up the weekend was Northstar Working Group show on Monday, August 25th.
